Subproject 4 aims to innovate production processes to increase energy efficiency and reduce waste in plastic manufacturing. This includes the development of digital twins for process optimization, real-time energy consumption monitoring, and the integration of new materials into existing production lines to achieve significant reductions in CO2 emissions.
Targets
Innovative production processes are essential for increasing energy efficiency and reducing waste in plastic manufacturing. Traditional methods are often energy-intensive and generate significant waste.
Subproject 4 aims to develop and implement new process technologies that:
- Increase energy efficiency through real-time monitoring and optimization.
- Reduce waste by integrating advanced materials into existing production lines.
- Utilize digital twins to enhance process optimization and minimize environmental impact.
These advancements will help manufacturers achieve significant reductions in CO2 emissions and operational costs, promoting more sustainable production practices.
