Since 2017, Resilux Schweiz AG and Polyrecycling AG have been operating Europe’s most advanced “bottle-to-bottle” plant in Bilten, where used PET bottles are transformed into new, food-grade bottles for the beverage industry. The recycling process involves multiple steps to ensure exceptional quality and purity, utilizing up to 100% recycled material for new beverage bottles.
Through advanced technologies, precise manufacturing, and close collaboration with PET Recycling Switzerland, the circular economy is continuously optimized and expanded. Recently, the system has been extended to include opaque milk bottles, effectively closing another loop in plastic packaging and further strengthening sustainable practices within the industry.
