IWK is the leading research institution in Switzerland for component design and production in plastics technology with more than 50 employees. Our goal is to combine science and practice for innovative solutions with modern materials and production technologies. The modern equipment in the machine and device pool, as well as software tools, also enables the processing of highly topical cross-sectional issues, such as digitisation and artificial intelligence.
The topic of sustainability is also being addressed in a variety of ways, such as resource-saving component design through integrative simulation or the implementation of a successful circular economy in plastic recycling.
